Dedication

Happy New Year!

It was super great seeing many of you last night at Mosaic.  For those that couldn't make it, I want to share what we did.
After a friendly game of Ultimate Frisbee...  we read through 1 Kings 8:22-53. I'll let you look it up since its super long.  In the passage Solomon is dedicating the temple that he has just finished to God.  He offers an amazing prayer as he asks for God's continued presence in the temple.
2013 has begun and the Lord has a great vision and plan for each of us that make up Mosaic.  As we studied and prayed over this passage here are some of the things that we thought the Lord was saying to us.
Mosaic is to be a Sanctuary a holy place that he has covered with his blood.
Through Mosaic the Word must multiply as we do the work of sharing our faith with others.
Mosaic is to be generational as we pass what we have learned and have become convinced of to the next generation of believers.
Mosaic is to be an Ebenezer or a Milestone that we look back on and remember the goodness and faithfulness of God.
Mosaic must be active and moving in our lives each week.  Throughout the week we need things to remind us of our responsibility as believers.

Together let's continue to lay Mosaic at the feet of the Lord and ask that he would work mightily in us.  Let's be humble and relentlessly love and sincerely obey.

Love you all
Loren & Alaina
